These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern the purchase of goods from AKA Security Solutions (“we,” “us,” “our”). By placing an order with us you (“you,” “your,” “Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.

1. Definitions

• “Goods” means the products you order through our Website.

• “Order” means your offer to purchase Goods, placed via our online checkout.

• “Contract” means the agreement between you and us for the sale and purchase of Goods, which comes into existence when we send you a dispatch confirmation email.

2. Pricing & VAT

1. All prices on this Website are quoted inclusive of UK VAT at 20%, unless otherwise stated.

2. The price payable for the Goods is the price shown on the Website at the time you place your Order.

3. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors on the Website, or to refuse or cancel Orders where a correct price is not reflected.

3. Order Acceptance & Contract Formation

1. Your Order constitutes an offer to buy the Goods you have selected.

2. We will acknowledge receipt of your Order by email. This is an order confirmation, not an acceptance.

3. A binding Contract is only formed when we send you a second email confirming dispatch of your Goods.

4. Payment

1. We accept payment by major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and via PayPal.

2. Payment is taken at the time your Order is placed.

3. All payments are processed securely. We do not store your payment details.

5. Delivery & Shipping

1. Dispatch Time
   We aim to dispatch all orders within 2–3 working days of order confirmation (subject to stock availability).

2. Shipping Methods & Costs
   Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. We ship by Royal Mail or reputable couriers.

3. Delivery Area
   We currently deliver to Mainland UK only. Please contact us for shipping to Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands, or overseas.

4. Risk & Title
   Risk in the Goods transfers to you on delivery. Title passes on full payment being received.

6. Your Right to Cancel & Returns (“Cooling-Off”)

1. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a 14-day cancellation right beginning on the day after you receive the Goods.

2. To cancel, you must inform us in writing (email to sales@akasecuritysolutions.co.uk) before the end of the 14-day period, quoting your order number and reason for cancellation.

3. You then have 14 days to return the Goods to us at your own cost, in “as new” and unopened condition, with all original packaging and labels.

4. We will refund the price of the Goods (but not the original shipping charge) within 14 days of receiving the returned items.

7. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

1. If Goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, please notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing sales@akasecuritysolutions.co.uk, including photos of the issue.

2. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, including return shipping costs.

8. Limitation of Liability

1. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

2. Subject to clause 8.1, our total liability for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Goods, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the Goods.

9. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where that delay or failure results from events outside our reasonable control, including (without limitation) acts of God, fire, flood, strikes, war, terrorism, or governmental action.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
